Class of 1993:

Thanks to all of you who attended the 15 Year Reunion on October 15th.  We had a great turnout and a good time.  We had almost 100 classmates and their kids at Family Day and over 70 people at Grace's.  We will be posting pictures from the events on our website at sta93reunion.com.  We are also accepting photos there - please send us your so we have a good mix.  For those who missed out - we hope you will come next time!

This event would not have been possible without the work of many volunteers who gave their time to locating classmates, posting flyers, finding a cook for Jambalaya, taking money at the door, coming early to set up food, etc.  Thanks to all of you who helped in any way!

A special thanks goes to

- Kelli Courtney Adams for working year-round to update our email list and find our classmates (plus any other random task that needs doing!)

- Brandon Moran for donating a keg of beer and his bar for our use!

- Laura Prewitt Force for operating our MySpace site and hunting down classmates

- Lana Ledger Williams for maintaining our website

- Aprile Parker Waggenspack and Hope Templet Vines (and family) for working the check-in tables at both events for hours on end and making sure we got paid!

- Judy Grounds - locating caterer, shopping with me at Sam's, printing flyers, loading hot food in my car and buying us yummy crab dip that was too expensive for our budget!

- Michelle (Grounds) Waguespack - donating her free time to plan and run an awesome Family Day, plus donating the space for the event (Thanks to the AIM staff too, even though we paid them for their time - it was an extra work day for them)

We managed to make about $50 on our Reunion.  The only reason we did not lose money is because so many of you donated extra money or let us keep the change!  Thanks to each of you who paid extra to keep this event from losing money!

For those of you crunching the numbers, we raised $1,358 from registrations, late fees and donations.

We spent $220 for the Jambalaya at Family Day, $160 for plates, cups, drinks, ice, etc; $480 for catering at Grace's; $80 for online registration tool (Survey Monkey with added reporting features); $370 for AIM staff working Family Day for a total of ~ $1,300 in expenses.

We will apply the $50 earned toward the 20 Year Reunion.  We plan on making the 20 Year a (semi) fancy affair at one location complete with food, drinks, music etc.  So it will be the end to the cheapest reunions ever thrown.  Start saving now because I am not hauling meatballs next time!  Let us know if you want to help plan the next one.

You can always email sta93reunion@yahoo.com with changes of address etc.  We will keep the website up and this email active so no excuse for not finding us!

Go Gators!  See you in 5 years!
